When the founder of J. Mackie & Associates, Mackie McCauley, retired in 2015, his business partners wanted to keep the brand alive while making it their own showroom. A few months later, owners Amber and Ken Graves officially made the switch in the showroom that has served designers from Dallas for over half a decade. 

Amber and Ken changed the name to C. Maddox after their son, Camden Maddox. They celebrated the the change that June during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market by handing out small champagne bottles bearing the C. Maddox & Company name to new and longtime customers who came to browse the 30,000-squarefoot space, located on the ninth floor of the Dallas Market Center.

With more than 40 manufacturers represented in the North Texas showroom, Amber has plenty of inspired pieces to choose from. Although C. Maddox & Company is well known for its upholstery lines, the showroom also features case goods, accessories, mirrors, art and bedding too.

Because inventory is constantly changing, designers can purchase items straight off the showroom floor. The friendly and upbeat sales team is also happy to fill any custom orders. Although the name may have changed, one important thing at the showroom will always stay the same: our effort to deliver great customer service.
